The tear-down guys from Pratt Homes were here on Friday to look into the partial kitchen wall they’re removing Monday.  Can’t wait! Just having the wall down will be welcome, so Karen can see out and I can see in! I asked the crew what interesting things they’ve found in walls over the years and they said recently they found newspapers from December 7, 1941 in the insulation of a home. The inside our wall however was uneventful–only a pack of gum and an empty pack of cigarettes. Many people have commented on what a stressful process remodeling is, and granted ours is a pretty small project, but Pratt has been just great to work with. They communicate well (how rare is that?!) and they’re on top of all the details. So … here we go!
