Maui 2015: Day 24

Veg Out Day. All we did, really, was go for our walk. But on that daily walk we’ve been noticing a construction crew updating the bus stops. I saw one worker had customized his hard hat for the Hawaiian UV factor with a woven brim. I told him today I admired his hat and asked if I could take a picture and he happily said, yes.

Then we had a busy day keeping track of the whales, catching up on our reading, and relaxing. I did take a few photos of the beautiful pineapple plants on the property.

It’s Thursday so it was pupus tonight. In honor of Mike Lee (a frequent Hoyochi Nikko guest) I blew the conch shell in the four directions at sunset.
