It was my big 6 – 5—ready to rock this Medicare! E&Z&H&G helped celebrate, including party crowns for Gus and me!
And then it was E&Z’s 12th Anniversary, so they headed to Duluth for eating, drinking, and biking fun. We, of course, made our own fun with a two-day sleepover. Derek was in town for a conference so he added a GREAT deal of excitement by visiting a couple times—the kids really love to play with him.
Sunday was swimming lessons—the kids have improved so much since the last time we saw them. It is always a pleasure to watch the instructors interact with the kids. Super small classes (4 in Gus’s class, not sure how many in Harp’s) and the teacher’s are focused, fun, creative, and keep those kids moving through their sessions.
I never really thought too much about getting older, but I’m sure happy with this life I have.
