First things first. Gotta check out the beach (or what’s left of the beach) when I get up. So 6:30 I’m doing my thing when Jeff, the resident manger, tricks me into helping with chores. Can’t imagine how that happened.
After breakfast, Karen and I walked the beautiful north end of the boardwalk between the Mahana and Sheraton—2.5 miles. Nice! Then it was the typical grueling day of reading, sitting down by the ocean, swimming, talking with neighbors, buying more books.
I had to pay a bet off, so I took Karen for shave ice to pay off my bet that I lost (something to do with the location of Black Rock).
Evening ended with still more gorgeousness.
