Swap Meet Day. Karen caught a few rays (we’re still as pale as pale can be) while we waited for the Gang of Four to head out for the day.
With over 200 vendors, treasures abound at the swap meet! Everyone found something except me … I was looking for an Hawaiian-themed license plate holder for our new car but … nada.
Lunch was at yet another of our favorite spots: A Saigon Café in Wailuku. “Charlie,” the owner, is a hoot and loves to do verbal judo, so it’s always fun and lively and the Vietnamese food is SO delicious.
Afternoon, we each did our own thing (Karen bought some tropical flowers to jazz up the condo) and then regrouped for drinks and sunset at the Westin. Susan, Cal and Karen, prepared a trio of salads—perfect! We ended by making plans to take Richard and JoAnn to the airport tomorrow.
