Not a rain cloud in sight this morning, just beautiful sky and ocean. Armed with the cooking skills Gus taught to me and fine-tuned by my bride, I made myself an egg-salami toasted muffin breakfast sandwich. Along with Maui coffee … heavenly. As I was reading emails and newspapers, I was missing our friends who recently went back to Minnesota. So I put them on my screen saver.

I got a huge laugh when Joe sent this picture with the caption “On the Lanai waiting for sunset!” Joe was part of the Minnesota-contingent visiting Maui and had been home just a day or so when snow hit Minnesota. Again. Record February snowfall is over 30 inches. I’d say Joe is making the best of it.

Last beach day for Karen and me. Last honu. Last fun-texture photo.

And of course, last sunset.
I’ve enjoyed everyday of your stay in Maui. I just wish we could have been there too. Safe travels✈️
